Bingley knew that it was terribly impertinent to have a young lady over to the house without a chaperon, but perhaps in the interest of party-planning, it might be forgiven. Although if Miss Lulu, as he called her mentally if not aloud, came to have a compromised reputation because of this, he would gladly propose to her. He could not bear to cause anyone harm.
As it was, he waited in front of his house to meet Lulu. It was a reasonably grand estate, though not too showy.
