Richie arrived early at the diner to make sure he could get a table--it was the dinner hour, after all. He was wearing a blue dress shirt and a striped tie, with chinos. Also, for good luck, he was wearing his letterman jacket from basketball.
He found a nice spot by the window and slid into the booth seating, looking around. The decor wasn't right, but this place did have some of the same feel of Arnold's, which was nice. He would've liked to have Potsie and Ralph come and visit so that he could show them around Aternaville. Maybe Fonzie...and maybe not. Richie had always admired Fonzie's ease with girls and knew that, next to Fonzie, he would look decidedly second-tier.
Richie opened the menu, ostensibly reading it but actually peeking over the top every few minutes to see if Lulu was here yet.
