Spring Tea!
When: Saturday, April 4, 2:00pm
Where: Aternaville Hotel Ballroom
Who: Kaylee Frye and Lulu Spencer (hostesses) and OPEN!
(Note: All the ladies of AV have been invited. Any gate-crashing boys will be made to wear a tiara)
What: Spring Tea
Rating: Let's keep it civilized, shall we? PG-13 at most.
Kaylee and Lulu had been working for weeks to make this tea perfect. They'd rented out the ballroom, mailed invitations, and for the last 2 days had been baking up a storm, creating lots of yummy, sugary treats to go along with the tea and sandwiches the hotel kitchen was making.
Arriving at the hotel around noon, the girls had spent the last few hours supervising the decorating- the dozen or so small round tables were draped with pale pink tablecloths and liberally sprinkled with silver glitter, and the plain white chairs surrounding the tables had each been decorated with a pink bow. In the center of each table was a glass vase filled with a variety of pink flowers. Along the sides of the room, longer pink-covered tables held trays of hors d'oeuvres, sandwiches, and delicate pastries.
"Well, I think that's it!" Kaylee said just before 2:00, coming back into the ballroom after changing into her (appropriately) pink dress. "We're all ready!"
