Like everyone else, although not via live stream, I watched the three hours long Olympics 2012 Opening Ceremony. It's a spectacular show with a lot of hard work from a lot of people as well as beautiful music. I am currently listening to Underworld's 'And I Will Kiss' and 'Caliban's Dream'. Truthfully, while watching, I feel awkwardly emotional. I'm unsure what's the cause but I believe it's the spirit of the athletes who is trying their best in their sports events.
Other than that, perhaps because the music gives me inspiration of some heartbreaking scenes. :P
I also watched the Code Geass : Nunnally in Wonderland OVA. Just a word for it: ridiculous! It's almost 4 years since the series ended and seeing the cast again brought back memories. I definitely missed FukuJun's role as Lelouch. It's fun to watch with lots and lots of laughter.
I'm still in the middle of hunting scans of light novel illustrations, which include Hakushaku to Yousei (Earl and Fairy), Victorian Rose Tailor and Sugar Apple Fairy Tale. It's unfortunate that I can't read the light novels because I will if I don't have a language barrier. I will most definitely read Victorian Rose Tailor because it sounds like an interesting plot for someone who loves historical romance -- and what's better with flawless Aki illustrating it?!
I am joining the fandom of the webseries Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse, HAH. I'm not using the excuse it's for the kids because I am interested with Barbie movies and the likes. I don't collect the dolls now but I definitely enjoy the animations and songs. Looking forward to Barbie the Princess and the Popstar. While it sounds like a moden version of Barbie the Princess and the Pauper, I believe I will enjoy the movie anyway. It's coming out in August / September. :D
Now, when will I start the second book of Eloisa James' Fairytale series? I enjoyed A Kiss at Midnight (which is based on Cinderella) so it's time to read the second book, When Beauty Tamed the Beast, which is based on Beauty and the Beast. HEH.
Good night!
