"Looking for something?" he asked as Heine came into view. If the answer was 'my contact lens', this guy was out of luck.

"Answers." If something can be answered with one word, then he would. Talking was trivial and wasteful if nothing came of it. His dim red eyes went about Zouichi unsure about that armor. Again he pulled at his collar making sure that it was high and no revealing his scarred lines.

"Think you're going to find them on safari?" Alas, it didn't look like either of them was going to make a 'Welcome to the Jungle' joke. Alan cocked his head at the sound of Heine's voice, watching the strange man with one beady little bird eye. It seemed that for the moment, the whirring noises of the insects nearby had stopped.

"Who knows, but standing still is a helluva sure way not to." Jokes were made at the most inconvenient times when he did make them. Always sarcastic and dark to the taste. The bird received a passing glance. Nothing odd about a bird.

"Yea." A brief word and then he is off slowly walking again. Out of the people seen and heard, he would have to give him a bonus for not being twitchy or flooding the air with questions. It makes him suspicious though. To be that calm with what has happened, but so has he externally if his illusion of tranquility is holding.
