Ohhhhh boy, it's been awhile since he's done his Temple TV stuff, but this is. Basically the same. Right? Okay. Just do it.Hi. Connor Temple here. So, starting off, aside from the whole spaceship thing, I wanted to ( Read more... )

movie night sounds like a good idea
i think i saw popcorn in one of the kitchens, but don't quote me
it may have been dehydrated, so we'll see how/if it reconstitutes.

are we sure they're going to have movies we'll recognize though?
if this is another universe and all.

nope, no idea.
which is why i'm kind of hoping for that top 10 list...
so we don't have to use trial and error.

well, trial and error might be fun too?
future space movies and all that

less comforting, though, i guess
which was sort of the original purpose?
still, it might work if you make a sort of blanket couch fort thing and drag everyone into the same room.

hey if you're willing to sit through what might be a billion space chick flick films then by all means, let's do this.
and blanket forts? definitely something i can get behind. i like the way you think.

if it gets really bad (like a billion chick flicks bad) there's always mst3k-ing.
and/or throwing popcorn, but popcorn might be a precious resource around here so idk if we want to waste it like that

there've got to be extra blankets around here somewhere. i think we can make it work?

i'm ok with throwing the popcorn if i'm honest. seems like a good a reason as any to waste it.
let's just hope there isn't anything terrible like space eastenders
god i hope not

i'm voting for yes on making it work.
what's your name?

i'll take your word for it then
and i'll really really hope the space version isn't in the media library
maybe it'll work

nice to meet you
where are you from?
and when, i guess
since i think that's a thing we need to ask now that we're all in space.

not where i'm from!
which doesn't necessarily mean it isn't true where you're from
but it's probably a good sign that the world won't end in a couple of years for you either.

-oh hey thanks

if there are mayans in two versions of reality then they could also be wrong in both versions of reality
let's hope i'm right and they're wrong

and no problem

well, the mayans also thought the world began in 3000ish BC
so chances are actually pretty good that they're wrong everywhere.

people still probably won't stop talking about it until you actually get to 2012, though
it was sort of like another even-more-annoying y2k back home.

you're pretty smart
and yeah that's what i'm expecting it'll be like.
though less scary because its... mystical this time round
y2k was perceived as more of a threat because there was harm to technology involved
ooohhh, scary blackout, etc

aside from a slight increase in world temp i don't see the world ending in two years
