And it's nice to not be so alone
To some very special people - by some, I mean a few - by a few, I mean a couple - by a couple, I mean a pair. Two. But you knew what I meant all along.
My dad's birthday was on Thursday. He celebrated by going for his daily swim and then on a lunchdate alone with my mom. No children allowed. And then today we took pictures, blew out magic candles (that weren't very magical), and had yummy chocolate star-shaped cake.
Tomorrow -Sunday- my parents will have been married for twenty-seven years. Oh my.
Crazy bunch of kids they are.
