One is Deliver Us From Evil, a shocking documentary about Father O'Grady, a notorious pedophile which sexually molested kids (his youngest was 9 months old, and I was so shocked to hear that). I have yet read the book but I must say that Atonement is very beautiful. Not just the story (which actually is quite sad) but the lush scenes, the wonderful acting from James McAvoy and Saoirse Ronan (whom I think truly sets the movie in motion), as well as the music from Dario Marianelli. I watched L'Appartement this morning. It's the "original" movie - in which "Wicker Park" is based from. This movie was made in 1996. I enjoy this movie as much as "Wicker Park". The ending is different (if I'm not mistaken) but I like it just the same ( Read more... )
