I ended up buying another Kindle ... this time at a store in the electronic "district" in Jakarta. It's definitely more pricey, but if I calculate the price of sending the broken Kindle to the U.S. (and I have to ask help for that), it will be as expensive. I think my immune system is down, I start to get sore throat and coughing a little. Guess I have to start drinking vitamin and cough syrup as precaution. Don't really have a health insurance to cover doctor and medicine like I used to. ALTHOUGH, I can still go to a less expensive clinic, of course. Well, in the end, the cough gets the best of me. I spent today mostly in bed but the cough was getting worse. Since today is a national holiday, no doctors are available -- and a hospital is way too far. So, I will go to a doctor tomorrow morning. I know that I can beat flu by over the counter medicine.
