In random order: Whoa. Laugh. Gasp. HOLY SH*T. Gripping the edge of my seat. Smile. Awww. Oh, HELL NO! Shudder. Cried ... In fact, I had teary eyes for three scenes.
You can just guess which scene triggered which reaction. One thing that made me pissed off though
"There was a scene we shot up in Scotland; it's a scene where Ron is showing Hermione how to throw a stone on a lake, how to spin a stone on the lake, and Hermione is being really girly about it. She's got a really rubbish throw, and she has to insist that Ron show her how to spin the stone to sort of entice tactility and physical contact, and it's a really funny, tender and moving scene," Yates described. "They're both very funny in it, but it ended up on the DVD because the overall tone of our film, as you know, is quite intense."
So is David Yates a supporter of Harry/Hermione? Because clearly, he chose to put the awkward and cheesy dancing in the tent scene rather than the more comfortable Ron teaching Hermione how to throw stones on a lake? And where's Harry assurance to Ron that his relationship with Hermione is simply platonic, that "I love her like a sister and I reckon she feels the same about me". Where's Harry telling Ron that Hermione cried for a week when Ron left. DARN IT!
I give this movie a B+. Now, can anyone get me a time-travel machine so I can watch Part 2?!?
And by the way, after watching the movie, I suddenly want to make a new wallpaper of Ron/Hermione!! Let's see if I can make one this weekend (hunting some photos to use)
