389. Saturday, what to do ...

I finished Rob Thurman's Cal Leandros series book #4 early this morning. Oh, my God, that book just breaks my heart in more ways than one. I don't think I have been this melancholia about brotherly love/relationship in a book -- not even when I found out the truth about Harry Dresden in book #6. For any of the Winchester fans, you need to read ( Read more... )

weekend, book: cal leandros series, tv show: csi

I've only watched four movies this year!!! But, like you, I don't care. I'm more into books right now. I have a couple new releases next week, so I'm going to try and finish up what I'm reading now this weekend. :)

And you should nag me to read the Dresden Files! The first three have been sitting on my shelf for nearly a year now. Maybe after I finish my new books.

I won't nag people to start to read. Since everybody's taste is different and you seem to enjoy YA more anyway :)

I've been in a YA phase for a while, but I badly need a break from it! :)

Sometimes, I think, when a phase helps you to keep reading, you better stick with it for awhile *grin*. Though of course, having alternative is good also, that way you will not get burned with the genre too soon. That's why, I try to have at least two different type of books when I read. If one is a contemporary romance, I try to have mystery/urban fantasy for the other

I know what you mean! When I'm so into books I don't watch tv at all...I mean I saw it when I watched Haven...I just watched the show for three days till I was through season 1 but I didn't read a page in that time....so yeah...books are definitly more important to me. ;))

Oh, I still watch TV. I can't stay away from it. So I switch between TV and books. But movies -- blah, they can just go down the priority pole *lol*

I downloaded CSI this week for Katee Sackhoff and I must that I found the last scene very moving myself!

I have a feeling that you want to check out Katee Sackhoff in the episode.

I must that I found the last scene very moving myself!

It was, wasn't it?? Imagine the grief that the mom feels ... and to finally able to know where her daughter is buried. The music fits and I just can't help not to cry over it.

You do make that book and the book series sound interesting and I won't lie; I am intruiged now. I don't think I'll get to reading it anytime soon though, but thank you for the rec!

Why should you care about the lack of movies you watch? You should just do what you feel like doing, whether that's reading books, watching shows, going shopping, walking or watching movies. I am in a movie-phase right now, but I know all about going through different kind of phases. So just enjoy your current phase :D

So what did you end up doing yesterday (Saturday)?
