333. Of Movie and TV shows ...
This morning, I watched The Adventure of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert (1994), as an attempt to watch more titles from After Elton's 50 Favorite Gay Movies. That movie was really good!! It was entertaining and heartfelt and OMG watching Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce in drags!!! AND, the view of Central Australia was beautiful ... it was grand and orange and grand. WOW! Though I don't know if I can survive the desert but I'd love to be able to see the landscape myself one day.

CSI:NY 7.02 - Unfriendly Chat
I really, REALLY, like Sela Ward's character. She brings a more "humane / psychological" approach to a case, as opposed to Mac's more scientific way. Mac is all about the evidence. But Jo, she adds nuance to the investigation. I love how she drills Adam about the murder victim, by connecting it to Adam's first kiss experience. AND, my favorite scene is when Jo chats with that soldier in Afghanistan and shows him New York City at night through the webcam. LOVE THAT SCENE!
Brothers & Sisters - 5.02 Briefly Encounter
If last episode made me cry, this episode made me laugh. OMG, the scene where the kids thought that Nora was a lesbian was so hilarious!! I also laughed so hard when Scotty downloaded the "grandma porn" to Kevin's cellphone as well as Justin's reaction when he saw it. Oh, gosh, Walkers, I love you so much!! I also love Sarah -- the way she deals with all the phones (and whines from Kevin) is awesome. Also when she realizes her mistake and she tells Paige that she wants to be a mother to her. Must not be easy to deel with preteen like that ... that is why she is my favorite female character.
By the way, since Rebecca is no longer here, I have a feeling that Holly's role is rather diminished. She no longer has connection with the Walkers. I wonder if Patricia Wettig decides to walk out from this show somewhere in the future :(
AND, from now on, I demand Scotty to always use black leather jacket!! Because matching outfits is so cute!!!
Tomorrow, I have to go to my ex-office for a project briefing. The project will be two days only (this is the fun of being a freelancer, I can CHOOSE not to deal with the report afterwards) -- hope it runs smoothly. Project means money and yes, I still need the money *fingers crossed*
