TV - Day 10 - A show you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (CW) - I must say that I was sceptical at first (thanks for ruining all vampire stories for me, Twilight frenzies!) and ready to leave the show in the middle, if I have to. Especially because I have really BAD TRACK with shows that involve teenagers. I can't enjoy a lot of shows that features teenager characters. However, slowly but sure, this show grows in me. With quick twists and turns in every episode, fast pacing, as well as great music, it becomes one of my highlight for the 2009/2010 schedule. And oh, falling for bad guy (Damon!cough!Damon!) has never been this much fun!!!

THE CATCHER IN THE RYE (J.D. Salinger) - *lol* I remember talking about this with tomatoe18 because how classic is classic? Is it based on the time of the book was released or the impact of the book in the literature world. But if I have to make my own definition and come up with an answer, this is what I choose. I don't read many classic -- basically because I like reading contemporary stories better. However, "The Catcher In The Rye" fits with any kind of situation that involves teenagers' angst and anger. Either past, present, or future. It's been so fun reading about Holden's thoughts. The story flows so nicely. It's definitely a good read ...
