I survived Saturday with two bottles of Red Bull.
Remember when I said I only had 1.5 hours to sleep yesterday? I went out the house with my Mom at 9.00 A.M., went to the office only to drop off some stuffs, then picked up my sister because I'd like to treat them for lunch. Then, drove again to Carrefour since my sister would like to buy a couple of things, then drove home. I was so sleepy, I slept at 7.30 P.M.
However, here I am, at 3.30 A.M. on Sunday because I had been awake since 10.30 P.M. on Saturday. Yeah, at least I got 3 hours sleep this time. PLUS, this Sunday, I don't think I will go anywhere -- so I could take a nap at noon.
By the way, I watched few TV episodes
Supernatural 4.18
This show is for the win!! It started out hilariously -- with the book cover and how they brought up the slash thing ("They do know we're brothers, right?"). Then, they brought up the story to a higher level, with a Prophet (they already had angels and demons, so yeah, Prophet was should come next), and an intriguing ending -- what did Chuck see?? And Zachariah, he is still scary and a bit mysterious. After what happened with Uriel, I would not trust him easily.
I think this season's finale will be a BLAST
Bones 4.18
How I love the fact that Cam FINALLY on the spotlight. I love her character. She is fun -- she handles Brennan nicely, she gives freedom to the team to do what they do best but still be a great boss, PLUS, I enjoy her interaction with Hodges (not that I want them to be together, but Cam and Hodges are fun!).
This episode gave another side of Cam, the more subdued one, the one who carried pain from the past ... I thought Tamara Taylor was awesome here. So, if Michelle DID decide to live with Cam (by the way, so happy to see Dana Davis as Michelle, because I like her in Heroes!), will we see her again? Have not read any spoilers of that ...
E.R. Series Finale - And In The End
Oh, gosh, I still have TEARS in my eyes as I am writing this. Like I said in previous post, I spent my teenager years with this show, the first 6 seasons at least. Doug/Carol was one of my oldest ship. It was my first medical TV show. At one point, the show even made me want to be a doctor.
It brought memories watching the finale ... like (1) Morris being called in by Lydia, a memory of Mark Greene from the Pilot episode, (2) Carter helped delivering a baby, similar to the episode where he did the same thing when he first had doubts about being a doctor, (3) Carter and Tony playing hoops, reminded me or Mark and Doug, and of course, (4) Rachel Greene (though I wish she was played by Yvonne Zima, the original Rachel).
When Susan and Peter and Elizabeth and Kerry hugged each other, I already crying. And as the show ended with the explosion patients, I couldn't stop sobbing. I know that I haven't seen the show after season Season 6, but it's like finally saying goodbye to an old and dear friend. It's just sad.
I thought the finale was decent ... it didn't go out with a bang, but E.R. never really was about "showing off". The cases were more down-to-earth, everyday thing that might happened in an emergency room. It felt real and touching ... and the finale stayed true to the core.
Gosh, I am so going to cry again, remembering all the finest episode of the first 6 seasons. You know, with the summer hiatus coming, MAYBE, I will try to d/l Season 7 of this show, just because ...
I think I can go back to sleep just for an hour or so.
