117. David Cook's New Video ...
I think of myself as always being objective. So eventhough David Cook is still my favorite solo-male-musician -- I think his new music video, "Come Back to Me", is CRAP and I totally DISLIKE it.
The reason:
That video is SO similar to Coldplay's "The Scientist", even the jumping wall backward scene. I love Coldplay, one of the best bands ever, and that song is one of my "love-it-for-eternity" song-list. To have a video that totally looks the same makes me disappointed with the concept and the video maker.
On top of that, the song is not even my choice for the 2nd single. It's not strong enough. He should've done "Declaration" or "Bar-Ba-Sol". True, the song is more "pop-ish" and radio friendly but David is a "rocker Idol", I want him to do the rock thing rather than the pop thing.
HOWEVER, you have to admit David looks hot :) ... I still ♥♥ him and his music. This still particularly, just freezes my brain. PURE SEX ON LEGS!! I'm surprised I can still write coherently *lol*
By the way, check out the meme from previous entry. I already get queries from malicat and crashandburn, but I figure that I want to get more queries before I post the answers.
Will watch the latest episode of The Mentalist now ... and after that, take a bath and have breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and maybe read few pages from my current read before leaving to conduct the group.
