... Beatlemania!!!! ...

So last night, I saw the (delayed) show of American Idol on local station. I love this week's theme. Come on, who doesn't know or love at least one of The Beatles songs should be put in jail. For good! I think their songs are wonderful and immortal. I already know who got boot out (no, it's not due to his performance, I guess bad image CAN destroy you, isn't it?) - but I must say that I love Chikezie and Carly Smithson's performance. I'm not sure who will win yet, but I definitely would like to see Carly on Top 3 night. At least if she keeps banging with great song choice like the way she rockin' "Come Together".

Still fresh with The Beatles songs, I decided to watch Across the Universe. Okay, the story somehow lost in the making. I mean, it COULD'VE been great theme of the war and peace, but it did not end very good. HOWEVER, I was swept away with all those songs and (REAL) performance from the actors. They are ROCKIN'!! And of course, I have a NEW CRUSH!!

Ohhhh, JIM STURGESS ♥ ♥ ♥!!!

The first moment he opened his mouth to talk (I LOVE his accent!!!) and to sing (he can BLOODY sing!!!), I was floored. Gosh, and of course, he sang some of my favorite The Beatles songs ("Something", "All You Need Is Love"). I am so happy to know that he also stars in "The Other Boleyn Girl" (with Natalie Portman) and upcoming "21" (with Kevin Spacey) because that means I have more chance to see him. Hey, maybe he will have the luck of James McAvoy and got into the spotlight soon.

By the way, Bono's voice is absolutely stellar (singing "I'm the Walrus"), Evan Rachel Wood also surprised me with her voice (love her singing "Blackbird" and "If I Fell") and who couldn't love that song, "Hey, Jude" which was shown beautifully here? Plus, check if you can see Salma Hayek and Joe Cocker making a cameo :). It's a delighted movie, that's for sure
