I am greatly saddened to say that the fabulous Miss Teena Marie is no longer here with us.

She is a great talent that will be greatly missed.

Her music is definitely the definition of funky and soul.

Lady T. You will never be forgotten and your music will live on.

I feel sad that many of my music heroes are no longer here.
