work and poker are both on my shit list right now
arggggg...i'm SO freakin sick of my job
The mall closes at nine.
Do we ever close our doors at nine? Hell no.
Are customers still shopping by the time 10pm rolls around? Yes, usually.
Again...the mall closes at 9...not 10. Not midnight. AT NIIIIINE.
Yesterday, we didn't finish cleaning up the store till after 1 in the morning.
Tonight, not only did I work a double for the day, but I didn't clock out till midnight, and we were nowhere near being finished.
I didn't think working at a Victoria's Secret would take up my ENTIRE night when I closed. I've worked for the company for 2 years and never before has it been like this, it's so frustrating. I can understand an hour, hour and a half to clean up after we close but not 3+ hours. Not only do they not have enough associates working at night, they don't have anyone start on things during the day so at nighttime, the amount of stuff we need to get done is ridiculous. I DON'T want a job that I get home from at 1:30 in the morning, it's not what I want at all.
Problem?? I need a new job before I can quit this one. Anyone know of any place that's hiring? I think about work now and I'm on the verge of tears, and I hate that feeling. I used to love going to work, I like helping out the customers, I like making people happy, for the most part, I like what I DO at my job, I just don't want to close the store and be there all night. Maybe I'll tell them I won't close anymore..?? I'd love to keep the job, I really like the mall and the area, just not my hours :(
and BOOOOOOOOO on poker...I won 2nd place in my tournament earlier, which was $15 bucks. That got me up to $100 in my account. I took 15 to a cash table, lost it all. :( now I'm playing another tournament to try and win back some money and I think I'm just playing too loosely...because I'm about to finish in 7th...UGH. *sigh*
Lookin forward to tomorrow...payday and a day off...and it's a Friday to top it all off. :) woot! Probably time for bed though, goodnight
