Just watched it! It was indeed her boot. And hey, Jaime Murray is the BF. I thought she looked familiar and it hit me. I was sad when she left Hustle and went to the US to seek fame and fortune blah blah; this is the first thing I've seen her in besides Warehouse 13 (which I really should get back to).
It was a good ep! I was starting to like Gideon, then loathed him again, and now, with the old heart thing, understand him.
I was hoping we'd have more of Hook and Blackbeard because they were fun. I can't see how Hook is going to escape those lord-of-the-flies boys, and man, I hated that book so much. Hooook! How will he get back if beans don't work. Maybe he and Emma will have to move realms.
And that last scene is worrying. The final chapter? Are they actually winding the series up? I suppose it makes sense, with people wanting to leave, and I just acquired Hook and Regina icons.
I'm remember lost_spook being excited over Jaime Murray, too. I still have no idea who she is! But I should watch both Hustle and Warehouse 13 one of these days.
Lord of the Flies was one of those books I was glad to have read, just for general cultural literacy purposes if nothing else, but I had major issues with it.
I'm sure Hook will find some way back eventually. By the way Emma's comment about there not being a taxi back and forth between realms made me laugh, because it seems like there practically is, if your name's not Rumplestiltskin. But I guess Hook has been blacklisted from the interdimensional taxi service.
I don't think they're planning on ending the series at this point, although I'm not 100% positive. They might be gearing up for major changes in case they lose some of their main cast members, though. I gather various people's contracts are up. I guess we'll see.
In the meantime, I say get as much use of your icons as you can! I like the Hook one.
I can't think what it was I'd seen Jaime Murray in, because I only ever watched 1 ep of Hustle and I only watched Warehouse 13 in the break between this OUat Series (it's good! I'm sure you'd enjoy it; it is also sort of connected to Eureka which I enjoyed even more, probably. (They were both fun).) But obviously she's British, so she was just the sort of person who stood out even when she was just beginning to get major roles. And her character is particularly great in W13

I watched the first season of Eureka, and more or less enjoyed it, but never felt moved to go on to the rest of it. I think I liked the concept of it more than the execution.
I wasn't expecting to see out-and-out torture or anything, but I still do think the flashback scenes could have done a better job of at least emotionally suggesting more in the way of the tragedy and horror he's seemed to keep hinting at. They weren't awful or anything. But they haven't created as much of a sense of emotional investment in the character for me as I'd like. Still, he is getting more interesting, and that seems likely to continue.
You know, when Hook mentioned looking up "an old enemy," Blackbeard leapt to mind, but I couldn't quite remember whether he'd been killed in a previous episode or not, either, until he showed up. Isaac I remembered them locking up, although not until he was actually on the screen.
In my experience, it's been impossible not to hear about Hamilton, even if you're sick of listening to people talk about it. I wouldn'
