Dear Yuletide Writer
Hello, Yuletide writer-person! I'm AstroGirl, here and on AO3, and I'd like to say thanks in advance for whatever you end up creating for me. I'm looking forward to reading it!
First of all let me assure you that I have really broad tastes, and enjoy everything from sweet, happy fluff to full-bore tragic angst. Plotty fic is welcome, but I regard it as entirely optional, and I can and will be 100% satisfied with something that's purely character-based (two people having a conversation, someone being introspective, whatever). I'm fine with any rating, but when it comes to sex scenes, I prefer them to feel like they're strongly based in the characters, rather than the characters mostly just being there as a vehicle for the porn, if that makes sense. Honestly, I don't have a lot of preferences about what the characters might be doing in bed, as long as they feel like themselves while doing it.
DNWs: Any kind of AUs except canon divergence. I'd include in that anything that assumes the universe works in fundamentally different way than we see it working in canon, e.g. everyone-is-born-with-a-soulmate-mark AUs, when people clearly don't have them in canon. (Canon divergence is very much welcome, though, as is fun with parallel universes or changing things through time travel.) Underage sex, which, for these purposes I'll define as: explicit sex involving characters under 18, any sex involving characters under 16, or sex between characters over and under 18. A/B/O. Violent "on-screen" non-con. (Non-explicit references to sexual assault, bad guys manipulating or non-violently coercing others into sex, and dubconny scenarios including sex under the influence of drugs or alcohol are all specifically OK.)
Some general likes: Complex and flawed characters, complicated emotions or relationships, good dialog and banter, humor, little world-building touches, unreliable narrators, time travel, Sex with Feelings, characters who have interestingly weird or alien perspectives/cultures/biologies/sexualities/attitudes, big emotions getting expressed in small or quiet ways.
Some stuff I am explicitly okay with: Character death. Unhappy endings, including ships breaking up. Experimental or unusual formats or POVs. (I'm picky enough about poetry that you might want to avoid that, but otherwise feel free to go nuts). Subverting or playing around with familiar tropes. Setting things at absolutely any time before, during, or after canon, or in a canon-divergence AU. Also, characters other than the requested ones are always welcome, and if they play a big part in the fic along with the requested character(s), that's perfectly fine.
On to the specific requests! Note that any prompts or suggestions are just possible ideas for you. If you have a cool idea I haven't thought of, or a different take on one of my suggestions, I'd love to see it.

I'm happy with anything from a strictly platonic buddy cop vibe to full-on shippiness for these two, and with anything in between, too. I'm particularly fond of Sorry Cop Harry who's trying hard to cling to sobriety, but am definitely open to other versions of the character, as well.
Some possible ideas: H/C (with either of them in either role). Shippy getting-together or tentative first steps towards getting together. Kim's POV on canon events. Casefic, especially if the case has some kind of resonance for the characters or their relationship. Weirdness involving the Pale or the Swallow or cryptids or the possibly para-natural or just Harry being a weirdo. Something involving that ending where Kim gets shot and ends up in the hospital (because that happened to me the first time I played thanks to me rolling snake eyes at the worst possible moment, and I AM NOT OVER IT).
The Good Place (TV)

I love all of the characters on this show, but there's a special place in my heart for Michael, and I'd really love anything featuring him, from silly entertaining little moments, to something that really explores his character development. Having fun with or exploring his relationships with any or all of the other characters, with The Bad Place or the Good Place, with OCs, or with humanity in general is great.
Som possible ideas: Backstory for him, maybe something about his work on the neighborhood, or what he was like before even meeting any of the humans. Scenes of him studying ethics with Chidi in season 2. Wacky scenarios during the reboots. Bonding or bantering with the humans and/or Janet. His adventures on Earth, post-canon, or what happens when he finally dies.

I love the relationship between these two! In particular, I love that they end up giving me very shippy vibes -- um, no pun intended -- in a completely asexual way. So something that leans into that would be especially great, particularly if it lets them have whatever kind of relationship they have without getting hung up on labeling it. But really, anything that involves the two of them interacting will make me super happy.
Some ideas: Oh, man, really, I'd just love to see these two doing basically anything together. Exciting interstellar adventures, movie nights, interacting with humans or bots or SecUnits, idle conversations (maybe conversations about interstellar adventures or movie nights or humans?), facing the dreaded possibility of Actually Having Feelings, whatever.

I love the twisted but weirdly loving pseudo-parental relationship between Sydney and Jarod, and would love anything that explores or features that. I would prefer, by the way, not to lean too hard into Jarod/Parker shipping. It's OK if it's there, but I'd rather it be mild or backgrounded, thanks! Also, feel free to either incorporate or completely ignore the TV-movie sequels.
Some ideas: Casefic that brings the two of them into contact or brings up something emotional between them. Scenes from Jarod's childhood. Futurefic with the two of them having gotten free from the Centre. Hugs, because, man did I spend a lot of time while watching that show wishing they could just hug. I also think canon divergence AUs are particularly interesting in this fandom because there's so much "what if" possibility for things to have gone better... or worse.
