Waiting Patiently SUCKS.
Well, I'm still alive for the present time. I still have one more set of flights to take tomorrow to get back to T-Town. Hopefully, I'll be back home by 9:00 tomorrow night.
Our buyers for our house had their financing fall through, so they were trying to quickly secure another lender. I don't have much confidence that our house sale is going to happen next week. Which sucks, because that'll likely mean that we'll lose the new place that we are paying 114K for and it appraised for 126K... I hate walking away from 10% equity in a home.
Steph is really stressed. We spent last weekend getting most of the stuff out of our house and now all that remains is a couple of car trips worth of boxes in the garage. I plan to work on finishing that up on Saturday. We should know whether our house will sell for sure by late tomorrow night.
If it doesn't, I'm going to have to come up with a plan-B, since we really don't want to have to move our stuff back in.
I'm just so ready to be done with the whole buy-sell house thing... I'm just soooo tired and ready to settle back into some semblance of normal life again.
I'm also ready to get home to see my family. It seems to get tougher each time I come out here.
