I'm a-squee, because
penknife wrote a great ficlet for my prompt "Jennifer Keller, Star Trek." Jennifer, John, and Sam, bonding over Star Trek. :)
Reality Showgen, set early season 4. ~400 words.
I uploaded my comics to the AO3. Finally, an archive that accepts comic format! Uploading is easy enough. After a day of browsing my impression is that it's very user-friendly and well-thought-out, perfectly tailored toward fanfic. As a reccer, I'm particularly thrilled with their bookmark/rec feature. And everything is tagged and interlinked, which makes browsing fun. Well, the fandoms aren't listed on one page, that makes browsing not so much fun. But that was the only detail that's bugged me so far. I ran into an "oops, we got a problem" error message twice when using the search engine but didn't take notes so I can't give helpful feedback. Will pay more attention to stuff like that in the future so I can be a more useful beta user.
Finished a cool genfic by cybercyd last night, but seeing that it was written in '05 and Big Bang has just gone live, I better wait with the rec. Have printed out a Big Bang fic to reward myself with after work. Should first get some more work done, so I deserve the reward.
Is it just me, or did Dreamwidth's preview button disappear?
