No UK for me
So as of now, there's no way I can travel to the UK to work. BUNAC is gone because of new UK immigration laws, and the youth mobility scheme for tier 5 does not include Americans. What makes me mad is that the new youth mobility was offered to the US by the UK, but we refused. Major bummer. I'm forced to stay in this country when it's at its worst!!!
I've always dreamed of going to England and living or working there for a while. There's no real way to get a visa unless I get a 'highly skilled worker' visa under tier 1 or 2. But I highly doubt the UK is clamoring for BA English workers. It seems as if they're looking for doctors an other technical trades to give those visas. Oh well. Maybe I could try Canada or Australia.
