Okay, Supernatural panel is done now and the first spoilers are rolling in. Hilariously, at the panel they were their usual "well, we can't talk about this and that" selves. Used my first "free" day to finally catch up on the last few eps of Fringe. I started watching in real time Season 4, then had to stop quickly because it made me hurt for the characters and I can only really take that when I know it gets better (and soon). I haven't done these in ages but this might have been the first episode in the last 2.5 years of Supernatural that got me invested in watching the show again.

Granted, they might still fuck it up spectacularly. And history suggests they will, simply for the hell of it. But ( brief spoilers for 7.23 )

I've fallen out of love with SPN some time ago but awww, back then life was good. (found at TWOP, btw. )

Too bad, it didn't make it into the episode. Guess it would have made Dean/Cas canon? *g*

Will maybe do full-on reviews of the remainder of Season 5 after its finished but to get a little back into groove, this is how I'd grade the episodes, I haven't covered, so far (grades range from A to E) :

5.15 C
5.16 A minus
5.17 B plus
5.18 C plus to B minus
5.19 B
5.20 C minus

We'll see how the Finale fares. :)

I won't be posting SPN ep reviews for the foreseeable future, not because I particularly disliked the episodes - in fact, I did really like them - but because currently I KNOW that if I engaged in posting and reading discussion/reviewing/meta, it would spoil my enjoyment of the show ( Read more... )
