I was having a convo with a friend yesterday about how girls and guys think so differently. I was venting about how there are no decent guys anywhere to be found in the universe, how I have been sadly single for two years and I'm just going to become a hermit one day, and he replies, "you DO know I'm a guy, right? I want to appropriately comment, but I don't think I'm interpreting your entry properly. I think it's because you're using that really weird cryptic "girl-speak" that we guys think we understand only to find out we definitely didn't later on.

I demand a rewrite that my simpleton male mind can comprehend.

Also - I'm getting the lead role for the 40-year-old virgin sequel, and you aren't. So suck it!

PS. I'm a little confused what he meant when he said he could've taken advantage of you there because he's a guy.

I -think- he meant something along the lines of when a girl seems vulnerable (i.e. after break-up), it's easier to take advantage of them because they seem to be looking for a relationship: any relationship, even if it's from some random guy (even tho he wasn't in this case). If you were an eligible, single guy and a girl confessed that she was frustrated about her lack of "guys", wouldn't you feel you would be able to ask her out right then and there? LOL, I dunno... I think this is what he meant. :( Guys are an enigma too.

Ohhhh, okay, that makes sense. I personally think doing something like that is a pretty crappy thing to do.

But enough about that. I heard you're single and desperately looking for a relationship? Why not come to my house and we'll have a nice friendly discussion about it. I even have some really good smelling candles (for the purpose of aromatherapy, of course), and could probably throw together something simple to snack on... like filet mignon, some garden salad, baked alaska. Could wash it down with some tasty beverage like soda or aged fine wines.

You know, just because it seems like you could use a friend to talk about this problem with and I just want to help.

On a side note, I just got Radiata Stories. I also hate you.

That friendly discussion sounds lovely, I might have to take you up on it. After that filet mignon and salad (italian vinaigrette?) we MIGHT have to bust out all the games you've been purchasing though. You know, just for relief purposes. Isn't Radiata Stories addictive?! Sadly I got stuck somewhere a few weeks ago and been to busy to play - but I love the storyline and characters :)

While I'm all for "gaming with goddesses", I'm afraid breaking out the newly purchased games would only set you back another few years in the relationship department (and with that many games, I don't even have to exaggerate)! This would be unacceptable as my desire only that which would get you out of this relationship slump. See? You can't say I don't keep your best interests in mind!

And nope. No lovin'. You're devious, and took advantage of the fact that I was vulnerable to suggestion, and you made me get Radiata Stories! Fiend! Though I have to admit, it's a very vibrant game, and I love what I've seen so far... it's cute, hilarious, and a whole lot of fun!
