I was having a convo with a friend yesterday about how girls and guys think so differently. I was venting about how there are no decent guys anywhere to be found in the universe, how I have been sadly single for two years and I'm just going to become a hermit one day, and he replies, "you DO know I'm a guy, right? I could've totally taken advantage of you there."
Do we really categorize people like that when we're talking to them? Really, sometimes I forget since I know my friends so well, alot of them being guys, that talking to them is no different to me than talking to a girl. Sure, I keep the makeup/fashion/celeb rants to a minimum and up my gaming/cars/whatnot talk, but it's NOT that difficult to relate to guys and girls in the same way is it? Just because you're ranting to a GUY about how you are frustrated there are no decent guys in your life = you give him some edge to ask you out? Even if this guy is someone you've known a LONG time and do not think he is romantically interested you whatsoever?
I don't know :| He seems to think we girls are some complicated, crazy beast of a thing that is totally a puzzle and not understandable, yet I don't think we're *THAT* complicated, are we? Maybe it's just me....
And a little less than three weeks til school starts! :)
EDIT: MUCH LOVE FOR PHELPS 5/8 BABY!
