Oh Kat, m'dear, I apologize -- I neglected to warn you that all guys are scum! Being male myself, I'm attuned to the Male Thought Overmind, which essentially means that I get the skinny on everything male, and let me tell you... it ain't any good. All guys are built with an innate "scum" gene, which remains dormant in most males until they hit puberty.
Science explains the changes that happen to males as testosterone, but in reality, it's the perpetuation of the "scum" gene. It can't be avoided, and every male has it running rampant through them. It's almost like a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde type deal, though it's interweaved so finely into the male schema that you can't actually tell the difference between Jekyll and Hyde until it's too late.
It's unfortunate that you had to learn this now, but I thought I should let you know the truth while there's still time! Save yourself from the male scum plague and get a pet!! :P
On another note... holy crap, you need a shopper's intervention! Here I am sitting on a fairly sizeable chunk of cash (for me, anyway) and I can't think of ANYTHING to spend it on. Maybe I need to teach you how to do that too!

I just discovered the wonders of ebay. And paypal. Oh my goodness.
I think the reason I can't think of anything to spend money on is because I don't have a girlfriend. People tell me that expenditures tend to go up after a guy finds a girl.
So, my new excuse for not spending money is that I'm saving up for whenever that happens. There! :D
Though, truth be told, I just got my hands on a credit card, and, like yourself, I've been logged onto Paypal/Ebay a lot recently. I now have 5 new video games that I'm never going to get to play because I'm still trying to beat the 3 I'm currently playing. :(
Also... YOU MA'AM, NEED TO LOG ON AIM AT MORE CONVENIENT INTERVALS! I've actually been on AIM this week, and you're MIA! AWOL! BBQ!

FOR THEMSELVES! -gasp- You should invest! I AM PROUD OF THOSE GAMES YOU BOUGHT ON EBAY! We will turn you into a shopaholic yet :)

I can honestly say that I don't believe I've ever enjoyed buying myself makeup, so therefore your theory is flawed!! SO THERE! And I have to admit that Ebay is breaking my will. :(
THOUGH I LOST ONE OF MY BIDS! ARGH! It was for the super rare pre-G.U. .hack games, too. Guess that's $130 saved. :S
