It's stupid of him to be in the Corellian district just now, he knows that. It's not safe for anyone who isn't Corellian, not in the current climate, especially not for Jedi.
That's why he's dressed in civilian clothes, and why he's relieved he never told Barit his last name.
He finishes his bottle of fizzade just as he reaches the Saiy family business, and finds a trash receptacle before stepping up to the workshop. The two men inside don't seem worried about him, and one of them -- Barit's father -- calls for the boy so that Ben can talk to him.
After an awkward walk to the area outside Barit's apartment, Ben bites his lip, then begins:
"I saw you outside the embassy the other day."
