Since it's been 2 months
I'm going to take a minute to wish everybody a very happy Thanksgiving. I hope you have a great, not-too-snowy/rainy day, and have tons of meat-filled or meat-free food (depending on which way you swing). I'm cooking sweet potatoes for the first time ever. We'll see how that goes. I'm actually not even sure that I like sweet potatoes.
My mom, dad, and sister will be getting here in about 3 hours. I'm slightly nervous about how the hell we're going to all live in my apartment for 4 days, but...I'm sure we'll survive. I haven't seen my family in months, so I'm excited that they're coming. And then tomorrow, Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and Brooklyn all the way. My uncle in Brooklyn is a chef, so I'm pretty damn thrilled about this meal. I can't remember the last time I had meat, much less prepared it. But I'm not preparing it tomorrow, so...
Anyway, happy Thanksgiving :)
