This procrastination thing. I rather love it. I do it often, very often, and for the thirty minutes while I'm waiting for my laundry to get done and when I take my brother to band, I can totally do this thing. Which I'm not sure what it is entirely. I got it from Lady Hanaka who got it from Lyuna and apparently if you comment with 'dyed rabbit feet' I'll ask you four questions that you''ll answer in a post on your own page.
So.
- Jedi Master or Sith Lord?
YES. What, that wasn't a yes or no question? Ok. Sith Lord. Something about evil is attractive and I'd like to figure out what that is. That might involve me actually being sucked into the dark side, with their better cookies.
Though, if you want me to be philosophical about it, I could say what attracts me to Sith in the first place is completely invalid. Mostly, its the depths of their emotions, which I will contend is the same for each and every person, Jedi or not. The difference between Jedi and Sith is only the emphasis placed on restraint and self control.
Which changes my answer completely. Because the Sith are creatures of instinct, they have no self control. Without the internal locus of control, who is controlling them? The relationship dynamic between Sith Master and Apprentice is the same as one you see between a mentor taking advantage of their charge's volitile mental and emotional state, and using them to commit crimes.
Jedi. Without all the rules. :p
- If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be? (and no, it doesn't have to be in your lifetime, it could be anything)
THE SM PEOPLE DECIDING TO GO TO LA INSTEAD OF NEW YORK. Not even kidding. >.> I'm pretty down with history as it is.
- If you could meet any fictional character, who would it be?
:Q_________________________ It might be a tie. Between, like, ten different fictional people.
Coffee Juckie. Workaholic. Scientist. Human.
YES, YOU, WITH THE HELMET HAIR. I WILL BE YOU ONE DAY. >.> Can't you just picture it?
But there is one that stands out above all others. Captain Katherine Janeway of the Federation Starship Voyager, to be exact. >.> Stop calling me a nerd. I already know it. But meeting her would probably be involve me running up to her and screaming "ADOPT ME, PLEASE!" or scheduling to take all of her classes in the Starfleet Academy/becoming her apprentice. She may or may not have inspired my love of science, my feminist bent, part of my writing career, etc., etc.
I mean, she is just so incredibly . . . awesome. She has her flaws, every character does, but the magnitude of what she did and who she was really overpowering for a kid the age I was when I first started watching Voyager. She was such a commanding person (well, obviously), and what three to ten year old nerd wouldn't want to be her when they grew up?
Seriously, I could have picked a worse idol.
*Janeway Junkie*
OMG I just found all the little janeway emoticons for LJ. Guess what I'm doing . . .
- Is the glass half empty or half full?
Hey, back off. The glass is MINE. >.>
- Crocodile Hunter or Crocodile Dundee?
Why do you even ask? The Crocodile Hunter, Duh. I still watch his movie. I cried when he died.
