Yuletiiiiide!
OMG, this holiday season I have:
- spent the last week of school at home with a miserable Hypatia with a double ear infection
- not unrelatedly bought two hot water bottles (THESE THINGS ARE SO GREAT)
- got and decorated tree and did all my last gift buying and wrapping in frantic rush in three days because of aforementioned lost week
- hosted my entire family
- had brunch with santa on Xmas eve morning
-- where child changed her mind at the last minute about what she wanted from him
-- got child the new request in 15 minutes flat GO ME
- cooked dinner for eight
- had a stay at grandma's house in the remote and distant wilds of pennsylvania
-- where I went skiing
--- with a six year old
- finished last Witcher 3 expansion pack main quest
- wrote ANOTHER 40k words of Witcher fic (ha ha ha THE AVALANCHE IS COMING SORRY)
...can I have a vacation now?
But there was also MUCH REJOICING because I got not one but TWO amazing Forever Knight stories for Yuletide, and if you are doing some last minute pre-reveals (AS I WAS WRITING THIS POST THE REVEALS HAPPENED, d'oh, so instead...) POST-reveals reading, you really want to get on these let me tell you:

OK so those are the official summaries but basically the real thing here is, LACROIX, LACROIX, LACROIX--who honestly is hard to get right for me, because I don't want his cruelty erased but I also want him the devil you have sympathy for, and BOTH of these stories nailed it for me, and in really amazing and different ways. Also cough, Finding what you didn't lose is extremely hot, not of course that this matters to anyone reading this journal, haha. :P
