Person of Interest: If It's Not Love (Reese/Finch)
OMG, you guys, my hands are all broken nails and bruises and my back is sore, but Hypatia now has a shiny awesome big-girl twin bed all her own. We even got her to bed ON TIME which was kind of a miracle given the excitement and also the earlier meltdowns (she managed to first pinch a couple of fingers and then bonk her toes early in the process of construction, and it worked her up to a point where she literally started screaming "MOMMMMMYYYYY" anytime I tried to step away from her for a second to help C. put any other part of the bed together.
I finally cured it with a liberal application of Peppa Pig on the ipad, which got us the necessary peace to put the rest of the bed together in about half the time it had taken us to build the one storage drawer while she was flipping out. /facepalm
The bed is pretty great, although her room is so tiny that it swallows it almost completely. But there isn't really any helping that until she's old enough that we can loft the bed, and she was going to outgrow the tiny not-quite-a-toddler-bed shortly no matter what. Tomorrow there will perhaps be pictures! But right now she is fast asleep in it.
And pre-K was a success today as well! I'm so relieved and glad.
And now on to story for the day! Whooo, I am three for three so far. \o/
