OK. I've NOT been watching American Idol. I'm occasionally intrigued by a performer or two if I've heard they're really talented - absolutely NO fricking clue what the whole David/David thing is........and it's better if I DON'T know, since I spend WAYYYYYY too much time obsessively reading fanfic from authors I like........which is how I started reading these comments and discussions about Adam Lambert. And I've now spent several HOURS looking up what I can to find out about him. The first video clip of his that I saw was "Mad World" - boom. I was hooked. Then, the whole idea that perhaps he's gay - perhaps he's openly gay - which makes me want to jump up and down, cheering, "You GO!" and also thinking that I might have to figure out this whole voting thing so that I can vote for him..........then I'm thinking, 'Hey, if he's just cool with different genders, that's fine........and if he's actually gay, awesome - about time someone with the guts and the talent was allowed to do well."

Then I read your Adam/gokey fic. I absolutely loved it. And THEN.......I read the comment above about Adam Lambert in a nightclub with Lex Luthor.......I literally stopped breathing. Then asked, "Lex Luthor from the Smallville series, right?" Breathing stopped again......my imagination wandering off, doing little loop-de-loops......PRAYING that a fic like that shows up somewhere..........yummy...........

I can't even cry for help. I think I'm beyond saving at this point.
