whenever I think I'm out they keep pulling me back in

Although, while Adam has won me over by throwing down and not being shy about anything even in the face of Randy Travis and annoying reporters, I have to confess that my strongest emotion watching American Idol this year is not love.
It is hate. An endless sea of hate. The kind of hate that could spawn newsgroups called "alt.americanidol.danny.gokey.die.die.die" and makes me watch Idolatry episodes repeatedly just to soothe my soul with Kristen Baldwin saying "put the GO in Gokey!" and calling him Ghoulish Widower™.
I have written a story to vent but -- I am not sure what to do with it. It's kind of hostile! *pokes it*
I am also out of my mind in other ways, for reasons which we need not explore at this juncture, and behind on four separate deadlines! awesome. :/
However, much more importantly and excitingly:
I am going to Australia & NZ! :D
I leave in... less than two weeks! D:
I will be in Sydney from April 13-17, in Leura April 17-18, and then back to Sydney on April 19 for one more day, then I am going to Uluru, and then afterwards to Palm Cove which is a place near Cairns that I don't actually know anything about except that I have been promised a beach, 80-degree weather, and possibly even a jacuzzi (which in my current mental state makes me want to weep for joy although a month would be better than a week), and then will be in Wellington NZ from April 28-May 2 before coming home.
