Merry Christmas...I mean, er, Tax Day!

April 15th is finally here!  The past few days have been the hardest to get through because of the anticipation....

After today, my hubby will be free again!  I'm so excited that I dont even care that the IRS took a shit ton of money out of my bank account...

here's some things or activities in no particular order that got me through these past two months without a husband:

-Shopping.  it was very therapeutic and Marc wasnt around to get mad at me for spending too much money on clothes!  HA!

-Running.  Getting the blood pumping and training for my summer of 5ks/10ks/marathon helped me pass the time.  It made my overall mood lighter, cause ya know, working out makes you happy.

-Sammy.  the little guy knew how stressed out I was being at home and having to take care of extra stuff.  He was great company.

-Friday night Happy Hours after work.  I love my co workers!  theyre always up for a good time

-friends.  I always use busy season to catch up with friends because the other part of the year Im too busy being married

-video games!

-week night reality TV shows: Millionaire Matchmaker, Make Me a Supermodel, Dancing With the Stars, American Idol, Real Housewives of New York City....before I knew it, it was 10:30 and Marc was on his way home...

-My sister and Pat

-making fun of Jimmy Fallon's late night show, then changing the channel to Craig Ferguson and realizing how funny he is

-work

-calling my parents at home

-choir

So tomorrow will be a great day.  We have the day off and Marc and I are going to go to breakfast first and make fun of the people going to work.  Then we're going to Home Depot to shop and pimp out our wonderful sunroom.  We're going to put in a bistro table, some string lights for more subtle lighting at night, and some new plants.  Friday night we're going on a date of my choice.  We're going to get sushi and then go see Watchmen.  I want to see it again and Marc hasnt seen it yet!  I have no idea what we'll be doing over the weekend but I dont care.  I'm just excited to be with him again...

Also, since Lent has been over Ive gone to McDonalds twice.  It has been amazing....
