Yesterday, I took Luigi to the vet, because we recently started noticing his fur getting thin in patches and that he has a lot of scabs and a weird smell to him. Turns out he has an allergic reaction to something and has scratching himself raw. The vet also showed me patches where he had bitten off his fur, ripped it out. Poor boy. :( I know all about the misery of being itchy.

His eyes are affected by the allergic reaction as well. He got a cortisone shot and will get shampoo treatment and eye gel every day now. Other than that he's fine. Ah, what fun.
