It just snows here all the time! It never stops snowing!  For those of you who don’t live in Madison, it has snowed over 75 inches this winter, making it the snowiest winter on record since they started recording such things in the 1800’s!  it snowed last night, and traffic was a NIGHTMARE!  We had derby practice, but everyone was late because they

The other thing with this winter is that in addition to the snow, we are getting really cold days. AAA is swamped with cars breaking down and not starting (I found out first hand when two cars I tried getting to work in broke down). I took the bus for the first time in 5 years and I realized how much I miss it.

Yikes. Steve's car is not good in the snow, and I've had a few scary situations, but nothing close to that bad. I would have burst into tears, too-- in fact, I almost did after some skid that didn't come close to hitting anything else. It is very scary to be out of control in your car!!! Things are a little bit better since we replaced the tires, but I don't think his car will ever be great in the snow. I feel like we are always getting storms on Monday or Wednesday evenings, so that I'm driving home from North Hennepin after a super long day in awful snowy conditions.

Anyway-- I'm so glad you and the car and everybody else came out fine with those scary incidents!!

Oh my gosh! I'm glad you're ok. That is a miracle that you didn't hit anything!

All that snow could make me want to take the bus too...
