ain't nobody that can buy a piece of me

So we ended up buying the Hyundai Santa Fe last month-ish and I am glad that is over with. Then gas shot up which has been lots of fun. But it has been very useful so far in instances where we need to carry large items that would not fit in the Lancer. The poor Galant is now parked in the side yard to hopefully be fixed up in more abundant times. I love that car.

Connor's asleep right now and he has been battling diarrhea for the last week, but otherwise feels fine from what we can tell. The pediatrician said to just watch him and keep him hydrated.

I can't believe we only have about three months 'til Charlotte is born! I have been painting her room and we bought her crib and sheets and things. It will be crazy to have two kids and good to know they will have each other growing up. Also, I am interested in seeing how things are with a girl, since I had a brother and have had relatively little contact with girls as a child.

In other news, it has been an interesting month with Katie, work, the band, family, and such. It just feels like a lot of upheaval lately and I sometimes just want some peace and quiet. I am working hard to enjoy life for what it is and not worry about things so much. Things with the band have been fun, frustrating, boring, exciting, and conflicted. We shall see how all that goes. We are apparently going to try and play another show on Thursday at Long Wong's. I am finding that I am less interested in Analog Society because the songs are not mine and I have little say in the direction things go. Overall, I am not sure that I am a good fit for the band. But I am working on new music of my own and hope to make music I can be proud of.
