The ticket...

Traffic was at a dead stop and there was a right turn lane 30-40 feet in front of me. I got on the shoulder and drove past 3 or 4 cars to get to the turning lane. One of the cars was an unmarked cop and he pulled me over. The ticket was for "passing on the shoulder". Oddly enough I've seen police do this all the time. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to fight it or not.

well honestly if your excuse is that you've seen cops do it you're not going to win but if you can come up with a story that isn't full of too much shit then you might.. i wouldnt waste my time on it. sorry about your luck.. or loss..

Thanks for the pep talk, llama turd.

My plan was to go to my pal's shop and have him write me a work order that says that my car is "overheating" on that particular day and he performed work on it. Being that the officer didn't even give me a chance to talk when he wrote my citation, I'd explain to the judge that my car was over heating and was attempting to make it home instead of sitting in traffic letting my engine bake.

I'm stil undecided.
