This song I've been working on has actually been around awhile. It's one of those I liked well enough to keep. The subject matter is very close to me and I really needed to write it. sure it can. go wild. put it in even if it sounds wonky at first, ya hear it over a while and it sounds right. hell, i don't know, i don't write songs. Lookin' forward to hearing it though.

the bridge is the most fun. i think i know the song you're working on. sometimes i can take a bridge to some crazy hight. it depends on how tame the rest of the song is i think. but either way, it's a chance to stretch. working on one here in syracuse. the music is coming along but the lyrics aren't. i have my plot/subject. i need to research though because it's going to be kind of... large. i'd like to not load it down with too many words and make it flow better. but i always say that. have fun. it's totally ok to treat songwriting like a job or a term paper. explosive inspiration will come when it does and then you'll have that song that came out of an angel's ass. angels don't always eat beans. budget your time, take a break when you hit a wall, do what you're doing. you write good music. you're oiling your machine so when that epiphany comes and you write one in one night, it's a fucking masterpiece.
