Hi, I'm Vi! i'm a college student, openly pansexual and genderqueer. i'm bio male, and have been increasingly considering HRT, but want to look into the risks and alternatives first. I'm a fairly fuzzy person, and nothing bugs me quite as much as people who think that body hair is unfeminine, an opinion which i'm quite vocal about. However, i've only recently come out to people here as being an aspie...

i've spent a long part of my life being bounced back and forth between different mental health professionals with different ideas of what was different about me; although there was always some suspicion of Aspergers, it wasn't until i actually managed to get off meds (ritalin, zoloft, depakote, and others), and behave in what was for me a normal fashion that i was actually diagnosed.

i recently told a teacher here, knowing that his son has been too, that i was diagnosed with Aspergers. He commented that he wouldn't be able to tell if i hadn't told him... i get that a lot, and people always say it like it's a compliment. Is it weird that it drives me bonkers?

Anyway, i'm really glad to see that this community exists. Hopefully i'll have something worthwhile to contribute.
