Well, it's certainly not the Holmes *I* grew up with, but here's a poster for the new Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law. It looks like they were trying for a Cabaret-type style - dark with harsh contrasts (check!), claustrophobic (check!), hat at rakish angle (check!), pall of cigarette pipe smoke (check!).
