About a novel

I was wondering if anyone has read The Fifth Child by Doris Lessing? I haven’t (and honestly I don’t have time), however I have some questions, that I hope isn't too stupid, about the novel: Is the child (child number five) autistic? In that case do you think it’s a fair and good description on a family with a autistic child? And in short do you like it?

I’m not going to say I need the answers for work, but I work in a used book store and it was there the questions came up.
