So my photoshoot with Elania went fairly well. I ended up with several awesome photos, and as soon as I get a digital version of them, I'll post a couple of the best ones here. I also had my first "real" photoshoot with paying customers and all that jazz. I wasn't working the day they came to pick up their proofs, but the manager said that the woman was incredibly pleased. She bought all of the extra proofs that I had printed for her to pick from (8 of them come with the sitting fee), and she even plans to get a 16x20 done, along with custom framing (on top of the package she ordered). All in all, it will be about $200 she's spending on photos that I took. I must admit, that makes me feel really awesome. :)
In other photography news, I took Elania out to this small copse of trees behind our house and took some shots of her. This one is my favourite of them all.
Last week I also went to the doctor about my knee. Turns out I damaged some of the ligaments and was told to stay off it as much as possible for a week. It's starting to feel back-to-normal now, though every now and then it still hurts if I move it in an odd way or step down wrong. If it's not totally better in a month's time, I might have to see an orthopedic surgeon, but I don't think that's going to be necessary.
And that's all I've got for now. I'm out.
