(no subject)
Hmm, I had a lot of things to write about, but now that I've hit the computer, I can't remember any of them. Oh well.
Well, there was my Jane Fest on Sunday night. Regency House Party followed by PRIDE AND PREJUDICE!
And there was a ROCS performance last night, my first with them since joining up... errr, two weeks ago or something. A meagre 5 people (plus ironicshell who couldn't find us in time) showed up. Apparently this is a common thing about ROCS. Fortunately the people who showed up neatly split into SATB + foxe. Then I got to go home to have Mum come around and pay rent to her, and then clean the house. Woo Woo! It wasn't too painful a clean. It was messy rather than dirty, and the wine bottles fit neatly into the recycling bin for this morning.
Work is hectic. I'm trying to figure out a whole lot of things myself since there is no one who's previously done my exact position to train me on it. Right now I'm doing the stationery orders. Oh, it's a stationery fetishist's dream come true. And in cleaning out a cupboard, I found even more stationery waiting at the back for me to find. I had to be told that getting the invoices out was more important. But it's not!!!! So I'm reading through every page of the catalogue trying to make sure I get every single thing we need, and know exactly what we can order in the future.
*squeal*
I've just made a nice dinner with some of the leftover cheese - creamy pasta, and ate it up with some of the wine. I'm having issues with switching to eating my main meal in the middle of the day though. I don't need as much food in the evening, but I still eat it out of habit. I'll have a sandwich or two usually which fills me up, but then just out of habit, I'll just keep snacking. Need to get out of this habit. I think I'm putting on weight again.
