i haven't posted stuff for so long. well, except for the last rant post, LOL. which was mainly because i had so much to do and couldn't get things done last weekend. well. so it's the weekend again, and funnily enough, i still haven't done most of those things from my last week's list, but i'm not at all feeling depressed about it. just a matter of perspective, ne. xD
Next weekend my Japanese classes will start!! yes, FINALLY, after hunting my ass off for Japanese classes which fit my gruelling office schedule (ie -hunting for weekend classes, since my weekdays don't even allow me to BREATHE, forget about doing some extra curricular stuff.). I'm sooo excited about it, LOL. though there's plenty of apprehension too, namely -
1. it'll be studies, afterall.
even if it is the sexy language which resides so cosily on G's sexy tongue (no other language in the world holds this distinction!). the language that he flirts with over and over again in his journal, his songs, his thoughts. the language which bears the weight of his creative outpouring, his rants and his lame jokes. this exalted, honeyed language... will STILL be subjected to the lowly cycle of proper-studies-and-homework-and-shitty-stress-inducing-exams and therefore.... will lead to some hard work - mentally and...
2. ...physically. yup, i'm gonna have to climb 12 floor to reach my classroom every Sunday. *shrugs nonchalantly, while her heart quakes at the thought of it*.
what has happened is that the classes happen in an office complex, which is closed on sundays. so, even though the room on the 12th floor will be opened for us every sunday, the elevators will be closed (rant - which is bloody mean, i tell you! coz even if regular people dont go to office on Sundays, there are other people - like the cleaning staff and all - who go to these buildings to clean up and all on Sundays. can you imagine these poor people having to go up and down 12 floors, every sunday of their entire life?? cruelty, i call it. >_<) .
they had warned me about this before i joined the course, ofcourse-
Me: here's my cheque! *beaming*
Dude: Er... you'll have to climb up 12 floors every sunday coz the lifts won't be functioning.
Me: i don't mind! *bounce bounce* i can do that, no problem! d(^_^)b
Dude: *looks at me doubtfully while i skipped away happily*
humph. i don't feel so skittish anymore. G would, of course, laugh at the 'challenge' of climbing 12 floors.
speaking of G, i was looking at these pics (from
pyroyale ... thanks!) -
![](http://pics.livejournal.com/asliceofthemoon/pic/000xaa8c)
and i noticed how adept G is at posing. after a decade of posing for shoots, he has now become so at ease with modelling that even in these supposed candid shots his poses are flawless. you need to only compare Kanata Hongo's awkward poses with G's to realize what i mean. *impressed*. Though Kanata's such a cutie, hehe *pulls his (non existant) cheeks*...

Look at this pic - little boy's day out with his older sister... he's all dressed up to escort her, she's her usual gorgeous, bossy, sassy self... bless them, the dears! lame joke's lame... but talking of G looking like a woman, well, dyu remember how he was called 'Aishwarya Rai' by one of my friends? i had mentioned it in some previous entry of mine. well, a few days back, a friend of mine thought that this picture, which i had put up somewhere (on MSN i think) -
(userpic courtesy
marvelicious ... thanks, it's gorgeous!) was Katrina Kaif's picture, LOL.
Katrina is this british woman who's become a major film star in India coz she apparently has some Indian genes (she does look Indian, i admit).
here, this is her pic -
I'd say GACKT is wayyyy prettier than her, sheesh, what was my friend thinking!! =_=

I've been watching drama and movies at a furious pace, as usual, and i would like to recommend these two to you guys - they have food, fun and pretty boys in common!
THE FIRST SHOP OF COFFEE PRINCE
In the second pic, the person in front is a girl, the heroine of the drama.
the drama is a about this tomboyish young girl, who works hard day and night to make ends meet for her family (her family is suuuper eccentric, LOL. her sister, for example, leaves the toilet door open and carries on normal conversations while doing her business sitting on the toilet seat *HEADDESKS* LOL!). most people think she's a boy, though its never intentional on her part. well, after a whole bunch of (mis)adventures, she gets hired as one of the 'princes' at a coffee shop called Coffee Prince... and promplty falls for the manager. however, she can't risk losing her job by telling him the truth...
and so on. sounds typical ne? well, at some levels it is. but it is well written, with plenty of humour and interesting side stories (the one about the japanese man in Korea looking for his lost love is especially interesting), a great ending and lots and lots of coffee! so if you like strong, kick-ass (literally, LOL, the girl is a taikwondo teacher!) heroines and are a coffee buff then this drama's meant for you.
the second is a film which i ABSOLUTELY COMPLETELY FELL IN LOVE WITH OMG IT'S PERFECT I AM NOT EXAGGERATING.
ahem... yeah... i'm done fangirling into your eardrums, sorry! xD
ANTIQUE BAKERY
and the 'bonus' pic follows xDDD...
this is such an amazing film, i dunno where to start.
there's the look of the film - it's centred in and around a bakery, so the look is SO delicious you could eat it! it's fresh and colourful and glossy and yummy.
then there is the characterization - each character is superbly etched, and you tend to fall for allll four guys over and over again, hehe!
then there is the other 'yummy' factor - the yaoi-ness! it's not too explicit, but whatever's there is sizzling. Yaoi fans are sure to enjoy this.
and finally, there's a dark mystery, which keeps you hooked till the end.
so catch these two, if you're ever in the mood for something light. :)
oh and there's another thing common between these two dramas ... or rather, i should say a 'person' is common to them both ... this guy -
Kim Jae Wook.
pic number two is so cute, LOL... i really like him, he's a really good actor, and VERY hot! he's lived in japan as a child so his Japanese is good too, i suppose.
though i think he's kinda new to the kdrama scene, i dunno...
someone, i saw in a forum, has compared him to Miyavi...
i can see it, somehow... high cheekbones and all... though meevsie is hotter by a mile, hehe!
My god, this entry has SO MANY criminally hot-linked images i feel quite guilty ^^;; dyu think i'll be busted for this, by...someone? @_@
*slinks off*
see ya guys!
