Times have changed.
Life has made a pretty drastic turn this last week. I was shocked into reevaluating my entire life. It’s time for me to get a job. It’s time to take school seriously. It’s time to stop with the lies. And its time to appreciate the people who are around me.
My friends.. Sean, Tim, Farhad and the occasional Nate (when he’s not busy with his schoolin). I love you guys and I want you to know how much I appreciate everything. The time we spend, the spotted cash, the advice, everything. Thank you guys.
My girl.. Vicki. I can’t tell you how happy I am that we’re together. Mistakes have been made but those times are over. We’ve always been perfect for each other and with my recent reevaluation I realize that I simply haven’t appreciated that fact. I haven’t treated you as well as I should, and its time for me to start. Good times lay ahead, my love. Good times.

In the future weeks, moths, years, may I live by these ideals:
May I have the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
May I have the courage to change the things I can.
May I have the wisdom to know the difference.
I am to offer comfort, rather than seek to be comforted.
I am to understand, rather than seek to be understood.
I am to give love, rather than seek to be loved.
For it is in giving that we receive. It is by forgiving that we are forgiven. And it is by seizing each day as if it were our last that we look back on them all and smile.
