Condolence Cookies?
I take karate, and the people I train with are like a second family to me. My head instructor, Shihan G., loves my chocolate chip cookies and has been asking for them for months - but I haven't had time to make a batch since I've been going through a tough divorce.
I just found out that his grandmother passed away on Saturday. Would now be an okay time to send sympathy cookies? Or is it the worst time?
I've never had anyone that close to me die, so I'm not familiar with the feelings and what would be appreciated during this tough time.
If cookies are a bad idea, what would be a better idea to show I'm thinking of his family?
