Do you have a friend who goes to the gym that you could tag along with, or a place you can find some friendly pickup games? I find it really hard to motivate myself to work out, but easy if it's also a social event.
This. It's oh so hard to push yourself to actually do it when you're feeling shitty (at least ime) but once I can get myself going I'll feel great for a day. :)
