Parents of Gay folks
For those of you who are openly homosexual and your parents accept that and are supportive of you, have you ever felt smothered by them because of that fact?
A friend of mine admitted to me today that she wished she never told her mother that she is a lesbian, because now the only thing that ever comes out of her mother's mouth is stuff about how accepting she is of her daughter's sexual preference. (I've noticed this too, every time I go over to her house to pick her up for girl time/hanging out, her mom says stuff like 'tell me if you saw any cute girls when you get back!')
